Terms and Conditions Check-in /out: Check-in time is 3:00 pm on the first day of rental period. Check-out time is 12: 00pm on the last day of rental period. Smoking: Smoking is not permitted inside the cottage. Please smoke outside and take every effort to put cigarettes butts in the cans provided. Pets: Small Pets will be considered. Barbecues and Camp fires: Barbecues are provided with a propane tank. Please ensure when you are using the barbecue it is a safe distance away from the cottage. Camp fires are not allowed under any circumstances at 33 Oak, 46 Warwick and 48 Warwick. Our propery does not allow a safe distance from the buildings. If you have a camp fire it will result in immediate eviction of the premises without reimbursement and deductions from damage deposit for damage to the property. 50 Warwick does have a fire pit and small attended fires will be pemitted. Parking: Two parking permits are supplied. These permits must be displayed on the rearview mirror of the vehicle facing outward. The Owner takes no responsibility for vehicles being towed. If the permit is not returned or is lost a replacement fee of $75 will be deducted from the damage deposit. Guests: The Renter is responsible for any actions of a guest that visits the premises and agrees to be present when any guests are visiting. All guests other than the occupants stated in the rental agreement will vacate the premises by 11:00pm. In summer 2008 Grand Bend Bylaw raised the fines for public nuisance to $360! ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES!! Damage/Security Deposit: Any damages to the cottage or its contents will result in deductions from the damage/security deposit as the owner deems necessary. If no damages have occurred the damage deposit shall be returned by mail within 15 days after the renter has departed from the property and the Owner has had an opportunity to inspect. The Owner reserves the right to inspect the property at anytime during the rental period without notice. Every effort will be made to return the deposit on the day of departure if the cottage is very clean and there have been no disturbances or complications during your stay. Cleaning Policy: Cottage cleaning is not included with the rental. It is the responsibility of the renter(s) to ensure the property is left thoroughly clean and tidy. This means that a thorough cleaning must be done by you and your party prior to time of check- out. Cleaning supplies are provided for you. Please do not leave your garbage behind! Deductions from your damage/security deposit will result for cleaning services if this cleaning policy is not adhered to. Please return the cottage in the same condition as you received it. Lost or Stolen Items: The owner is not responsible for any articles that are lost, stolen or left behind. It is your responsibility to secure your valuables and lock the cottage when you are away. Fines or Fees: Any fines or fees imposed on the Owner as a result of the occupants or guests must be paid by the Most Responsible Renter immediately. Eviction: If any occupant does not abide by these terms and conditions or if the occupant’s standard of behavior is such that it leads to repeated complaints by others, the renter agrees to forfeit the rental and the balance of the rent and to vacate the property immediately upon request of the Owner. Upon refusal to vacate, the Police will be called and all vehicles will be towed at the Renter’s expense. If the Renter / Occupants leave or are evicted prior to the rental period expiring the Owner reserves the right to re-rent the property without reimbursement. Cancellation: To cancel a reservation and receive a refund you must provide written notice 45 days prior to your reserved rental period. Your deposit will be mailed to you minus an administration fee of $50. No refunds will be granted with less then 45 days notice. With 30 days notice you may postpone your reservation to a later available date or transfer your reservation to another person upon our approval of the person or group. No date changes or transfers will be granted with less then 30 days notice. ***This does not apply on long weekends**** We can not postpone or cancel any reservations for long weekends however you can transfer it to another person with 30 days notice upon our approval of the person or group. |
